Rob Chepak
Co-Founder and CEO
Rob is the original founder of TruDoss, LLC, and developed the idea while reading about the lack of suitable user interfaces for document-based blockchain projects. He has managed regulated information for more than $500 billion worth of global capital markets deal flow in his career.
He graduated first in his class from TRIUM, an MBA program run by the London School of Economics, New York University, and H.E.C. Paris. Rob holds an advanced degree from Northwestern University and a BA from Syracuse University.

Rob Chepak
Co-Founder and CEO
Rob is the founder of TruDoss, a blockchain-enabled SaaS company which creates information immutably preserved for transactions, supply chain, real estate, and public records. In June 2021, TruDoss was issued “Systems and Methods for Data Validation and Assurance,” (U.S. patent 11,061,886).
He has managed regulated information for more than $500 billion worth of global capital markets deal flow in his career and was identified by Merrill Corporation to lead an international sales team with a $60m annual P&L and customers in twenty-six countries.
He was valedictorian of an MBA program run by the London School of Economics, New York University, and H.E.C. Paris and has degrees from Northwestern and Syracuse.
Paul Hartzell
Co-Founder
Paul is the Manager of The Perfect Pitch, LLC, focusing on effective sales techniques to grow SaaS companies and has taught those techniques to Fortune 500 companies in EMEA, US, and Asia.
From 2002 to 2012, he was Senior Vice President and founder of Merrill Corporation’s merger and acquisition SaaS service, DataSite. During that time, DataSite processed more than five hundred million pages for due diligence review. He is a graduate of Lehigh University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He became a member of Lehigh’s Penske Athletic Hall of Fame in 1998 in recognition of his baseball career at Lehigh and in Major League Baseball from 1976 to 1984.
Bob Chepak Sr.
Co-Founder
Bob brings a management and sales background from the financial services and technology sectors. He was President and founder of Merrill Corporation and Corporate Printing Company’s International businesses and President of Pandick N.Y.
He was President of Hugin Sweda, a manufacturer, and distributor of electronic point of sale systems. Bob served in the U.S. Air Force, where he received extensive training in programming and system design. His was responsible for design, programming, and continued support for critical Strategic Air Command (SAC) systems. He holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Long Island University and an M.S. in Management from Northeastern University.
Shaen Bernhardt
Co-Founder
Shaen was one of the founding employees of Merrill Corporation’s SaaS service, DataSite. He has experience in the private equity industry as a principal and later as a partner in funds focused on middle-market leveraged buyouts.
Shaen holds a BA in International Relations from Boston University with a concentration in Security Studies, a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University with focus on National Security and Securities Law, and an MBA from the University of Chicago with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. Shaen studied international law in Italy at Università degli Studi di firenze and global management strategy in Switzerland at Universität St. Gallen’s Hochschule für Wirtschafts-, Rechts- und Sozialwissenschaften.
Sophia Piron
Social Media and Marketing Manager
Sophia is a senior at Lehigh University in the College of Business and Economics and will be graduating in May 2023 with a major in finance.
Prior to joining the TruDoss team in June 2021, Sophia worked as a volunteer social media manager for Dream to Succeed US. Dream to succeed is a nonprofit organization that is focused on providing and promoting STEM/business opportunities in the Latin community. Sophia is from Summit, New Jersey and is the middle of three sisters. One of them being former TruDoss team member and Lehigh graduate, Claudia Piron who aided Sophia’s transition to the TruDoss team. Sophia is responsible for email marketing, social media, blog posting, web site design and content editing.
Michael Danforth
Vice President Business Development
Michael is a top revenue-producing sales leader with 20+ years’ experience in building businesses through sales and revenue generation.
A high-tech business development professional, with expertise in the private equity and financial services industries, he’s worked closely with management teams at Merrill Corp and other companies to translate complex business initiatives into winning, executable strategies for meeting business development goals.
He’s launched and successfully developed businesses for PitchBook Data, TheDeal.com, Newsweek and other information/media companies.
Michael attended Fairfield University and University of New Hampshire.

Simba
Honorary Member
Simba is the 2-year-old son of two Grand Champions, bred in Orlando, Florida at the Brighton Labradors kennel.
The great grandson of an English Grand Dame, he’s true to the English labs with a big boxy head and muscular build.
He commutes between his homes in CT and Vero Beach Florida. His favorite things are playing with his humans – especially the grandbabies Adriana and Amelia – and chasing sandpipers on the beach. He enjoys long walks on the beach with his other favorite human, Michael.
And Simba rests assured that his AKC papers are secured by TruDoss.
